Spyro the Dragon has been with us for a long time, starting his game career a decade ago on the PlayStation. Our purple pal has managed to get through the years without looking any worse for the wear, but I can’t say the same about his adventures if the latest, The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is any indication. When the game begins, Spyro, Sparx and Cynder are getting out of the ice pack that’s held them idle for the last few years. They have a short face-off with some nasties and a finger-smashing dance with a giant Gollum, and then it’s off to the races for the “real” action.
